Four ways we work with medical assets

Medical property and equipment investment, asset management and facility operations.

We provide four disciplines under one roof: property investment, equipment investment, asset management and operations.

The four disciplines

01

Medical Property Investment

Acquiring and developing medical centres, specialist suites and day-procedure facilities, positioned for stable, long-term occupancy.

02

Medical Equipment Investment

Owning orthopaedic and arthroscopic systems, surgical support equipment and diagnostic imaging, leased to operators within a service framework.

03

Asset Management

Valuation, capital planning, portfolio strategy and reporting. Each asset has its own register, compliance calendar and multi-year plan.

04

Facility & Asset Operations

How the four fit together

The four disciplines are held together because a medical asset needs all of them.

In a day-surgery asset, the building program is designed around the equipment installation. The equipment specification includes the room. Asset management funds the replacement dates of both the rooftop plant and the arthroscopy tower on one capital plan. Operations holds the single service framework the operator calls.

Separated across four companies, those functions leave gaps in accountability. We hold them under one owner.

One owner across the four disciplines.

When something goes wrong, one owner diagnoses and fixes the cause.

Building works, equipment programs, management and operations are held by one owner.

Where we work

We operate in Australia, with assets held predominantly in Victoria, close to our Docklands office. We consider other locations where our standard of management can be maintained.

Working with us

Engagements begin with a conversation. Where a review is useful, we set out our findings in writing. Where a program makes sense, it is proposed with structure, terms and timing.

We work with three groups: owners of medical property, operators of practices and day surgeries, and advisers and brokers.

What operators say

One number to call, and someone on the other end who can actually decide. In fifteen years of running clinics, that is not an experience I had come to expect from a landlord.

Practical questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most from owners and operators considering an engagement.

A single discipline is possible where it stands alone, such as an equipment program or a facility operations mandate. Where the value is in the combined view, we say so.
The first conversation is free. Where a written review adds value, we quote it in writing before any work begins.
An indicative view within days of receiving the right documents; a written assessment within two to three weeks.

To see these disciplines applied to real assets, read our projects — or, if you hold or operate a medical asset, start a conversation.
